This looks fun, and after reading the story on Auto Evolution, I did wonder what situation would prompt the use of the dashboard handle in the G-Wagon.  Well, here you go.

From Auto Evolution

Everybody that’s ever driven or has ever being taken for a ride in a G-Class has probably wondered how a situation in which the passenger on the right of the driver really needs to use the handle on the dash looks.

Mercedes-Benz has recently decided to offer us all an answer for that, building the Iron-Schockl, which is basically a roller coaster for the G-Class. The company has recently released a video that allows us to see how capable the big G is when using this metal monster.

If you ask us, the clip is extremely fun, but a tour of a proper off-road course would’ve been more spectacular and would’ve certainly proved more. And they could’ve used the Iron-Schockl at the end, with the vehicle leaving mud all over the place as it was climbing it.
